Many of the youth we serve either live in low income families, are first generation Canadians, have mental health challenges, or have never had a connection with a church. Flowing out of the mission of Jesus, Greater Vancouver Youth Unlimited relationally engages in holistic work (physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual) with vulnerable youth in partnership with the church and the community.
General Description:
As Ministry Advancement Coordinator, you are responsible to help create and implement a strategy of recruitment for staff, volunteers, and partner development in Abbotsford. You are able to cultivate relationships and partnerships amidst a wide range of agencies, organizations, schools, churches, and community partners. The Coordinator visits the YU ministries in Abbotsford to better understand the culture of our team, and works in collaboration with the rest of the Youth Unlimited Abbotsford team, as well as the broader GVYU Marketing and Communications team. You will represent YU to the best of your ability, connecting people, coordinating events and campaigns, and fostering an environment of momentum.
